Pausing a subscription: how it works for school and member

What happens when a subscription is paused for a month? #

Nothing is charged in a pause month, and you cannot book with this subscription that month. Classes already booked on this subscription are cancelled. Everything resumes automatically the following month. If the subscription has a fixed end date, it moves one month later. Single classes, trial classes, tickets and class credit stay as they are.

Can a member pause on their own? #

Yes, if your school offers it. If you don't see the option to pause, ask your school.

How do you pause a month? #

1. Log in to your school's website or app and open "My subscription".
2. Under "Pause", choose the month you want to skip.
3. Click "Pause". The month then shows as "Paused" and you receive a confirmation by email.

What limits apply? #

• At most 2 months per 12 months, and only a future month within the coming year.
• Only the school can pause the current month.
• A month for which the payment is already scheduled can no longer be paused.
• A cancelled subscription cannot be paused.

Can a member withdraw a pause? #

Yes, with "Withdraw", as long as the month has not started yet. Classes that were cancelled when you paused are not restored automatically. You can sign up again if there is room.

Can a member cancel during a pause month? #

Not on their own. From the following month it is possible again. Your school can always cancel for you.

Can the school pause a month too? #

Yes. Including the current month, and more than twice a year. Ask your school.

What happens to the payment? #

You pay nothing in a paused month. If your subscription has a fixed end date, it moves one month later.

Pausing is part of subscriptions in Baila Premium.

Can I try it in the demo? #

Yes, in the Premium demo. Payments there are fake.
