Ecstatic Dance Utrecht has been organizing weekly free dance evenings in the city since 2014, on Fridays at Bar-Beton Rijnsweerd and on Sundays at Kanaal30 in Utrecht West. Dancing takes place from 19:30 to 22:00 without dance steps or instruction, barefoot and without alcohol. The evenings are intended for adults; the organization reports that the floor is not suitable for wheelchair users because of the crowds and the barefoot dancing.
