Baila Discover
Show what your dance school or event is like, with demos
On Baila Discover, dancers look for dance schools and organisers by dance style and place. With demos you put videos on your profile, so they get an immediate impression of your classes, your socials or your events. The profile and the demos are free.
What a Discover profile is
Your profile is the page of your school or your events on Baila Discover. A dancer looking for a style in a place lands there and sees what you offer, where and for whom.
Dancers respond from your profile
Your profile has the buttons Request a trial class and Ask a question. A request reaches your own environment as a contact request.
Free
Creating and maintaining your profile costs nothing, also in the free plan of Baila. Adding demos costs nothing either.
What demos are
Demos are videos you put on your profile yourself. A visitor sees your studio, your teachers and the atmosphere before they come by. That makes the step to a first class or a first night smaller.
- Up to 5 videos per profile
- Each video at most 15 minutes and 1.5 GB
- An MP4 or MOV file, straight from your phone or camera
- Baila reviews every video before it becomes visible
What you can show
A class
Part of a class: the teacher, the pace and how the group works together.
A social
A night on the dance floor, so dancers see who comes and how people dance.
A performance
A show or choreography by your group, your students or your teachers.
The venue
A walk through your studio or the venue of your event: the floor, the space, the bar.
In three steps
Create your profile or take it over
If your school or event is already on Baila Discover, take over the profile. If it is not, create an environment for free; your profile is added as a draft and appears on Discover once you complete and publish it.
Upload a demo
In your back office, under Discover, you find Demos. Choose a video, give it a title and, if you like, add a dance style, a level and a short description. Uploading requires an account with the Admin role.
Visible after review
Baila checks the file and watches the video. Once approved, it is on your profile and you receive an email. If Baila rejects it, you receive an email with the reason.
Get started
Create your environment
Pick an address for your school or your events and enter your email address. Your Baila Discover profile and your environment will then be ready for you.

- Ready within a few minutes
- Add payments or Premium later whenever you like
Is your school or event already on Baila Discover?
Then take over the profile. You start your own environment with the profile already filled in; once your claim has been checked, you can add demos.
Conditions
These agreements apply to demos on Baila Discover.
- Demos are for dance schools and organisers with a claimed profile on Baila Discover.
- You can place at most 5 videos. Each video is at most 15 minutes long, at most 1.5 GB and an MP4 or MOV file.
- The school or organiser is responsible for the video. You hold the rights to the footage and the music, or have permission from whoever holds those rights.
- Everyone who is recognisable in the video has given permission for it to be published. For minors, permission from a parent or guardian is required.
- The video is about your own classes, events or venue. No advertising for others, nothing offensive and nothing unsafe.
- Baila reviews every video before it becomes visible and can refuse a video. If we receive a report that a video causes harm or infringes rights, we are required to remove it, and we will.
- If you change the title or description of an approved video, Baila reviews it again.
- You can always delete a video yourself. The file is then deleted as well.
- The videos are stored in Europe.
- Demos are free. Baila can change the scheme and announces any change in advance.
