Classes and members

Registration with your own form

New members sign up themselves through the registration form of your school, in the frontoffice or on your own website. You add the questions that matter to your school.

What you do with it

Your own questions

Text field, text box, dropdown or tick box, in your own order.

Required or optional

Per question you decide whether an answer is required.

On your own website

You embed the same form on your site with the code you copy in the backoffice.

Answers per member

Every registration is in the backoffice, with the answers per question alongside.

How registration works in Baila

From the form to the first member: what is ready and what you set yourself.

The owner of a dance school welcomes a new member in the studio.

How a new member signs up

A new member signs up through the registration form of your school, in the frontoffice or on your own website.

  • The form is in the frontoffice at the address of your school
  • On your own website you paste the code you copy in the backoffice
  • You see every new registration in the backoffice

One Baila account for every school

Members sign up with a Baila account. The same account works at every school that uses Baila.

  • At another school a dancer logs in with the same email address and password
  • Name and email address come along, only the school's own questions remain
  • At baila.me/account the dancer sees which schools they belong to

Your own questions on the form

Add the questions that matter to your school, such as earlier dance classes or a fixed dance partner.

  • Required or optional per question
  • Text field, text box, dropdown or tick box
  • You set the order, the answers are stored per member

Baila terms and privacy statement

The Baila terms of use and privacy statement are kept centrally, so you do not write them yourself. A new member agrees to them when signing up.

  • The agreement is recorded per member, with date and version
  • You show your own terms and conditions alongside, as text or as a PDF
  • The terms of a membership are recorded when it is taken out

With or without a registration fee

You choose whether new members pay a one-time registration fee, called administration costs in the backoffice. The member pays it with the first purchase, through Mollie.

  • With the first paid class or course, or with the first payment of a membership
  • You set per situation when it applies
  • Works with the Payments module, the money arrives in your own Mollie account

Insight into new members

The dashboards in the backoffice show how registrations develop.

  • New registrations per day
  • Which share of your members has a membership
  • From trial class to member, and who comes less often

Set up the way your school works

You decide what the form asks and what happens after signing up.

  • A dance school form with dance role, date of birth and address, or a short form with only name and email address
  • New members can request their level while signing up
  • The registration settings sit together on one screen in the backoffice

Help from the Baila Assistant

The Baila Assistant answers visitors who want to join and helps your team with new members.

  • Explains to visitors how to join, with your registration fee or intake and the link to your form
  • Looks up new registrations in the backoffice and invites new members by email
  • You set up the form itself in the backoffice
